Set your rate.
Keep all of it.

You publish the amount you want to receive. KivMe adds its service fee on top, the customer sees the total, and your payout is exactly the number you set. No silent deduction from your rate.

  2. We read it

01 About you

Choose everything you are ready to take work in. You can change this later.

No documents today.

We are not asking for your ID, licence or a photo of your face at this stage. When the platform opens, identity verification runs through a regulated provider: your document goes to them, and KivMe keeps only the result.

We read every application by hand and reply either way.

Questions people ask before applying

What does KivMe charge a professional?

Nothing is taken out of your rate. You publish the amount you want to receive, KivMe adds a 30% service fee on top, and the customer pays the total. On a $110 job the customer pays $143 and you receive $110. The fee is fixed when the booking is made, so a later change to our rates never reprices work already agreed.

Do I need documents to apply?

No. The application asks for your name, contact details, the services you offer and where you work. No ID, no licence, no photograph. Identity verification happens later through a regulated provider: your document goes to them, and KivMe keeps only the result.

Do I need an NZBN or a registered company?

No. Sole traders are welcome and the NZBN field is optional. A verified NZBN lets you use your company logo on your profile; without one you choose a badge or use your initials.

Do I need public liability insurance?

Not to apply. If you hold it, saying so shows on your profile, and customers do look for it. You can add it later.

Which services can I offer?

Eleven categories: house cleaning, office cleaning, Airbnb turnover, personal organising, interior design, gardening, handyman, window cleaning, roofing and waterproofing, moving help, and pet care. You can tick several and change them whenever you like.

How long does an application take to review?

A person reads every application by hand and replies either way. You can build your profile while you wait, and it goes live the moment the application is approved.

When does KivMe open?

KivMe launches in New Zealand region by region. You are live in your region the day the platform opens there, which is why applications are open before launch.
